Self-Improvement. What is self-improvement? The term is defined as "a self-guided improvement -economically, intellectually, or emotionally- often with a substantial psychological basis." People may take classes, join groups, or like myself, read books, articles, and blogs with their own focus, techniques or beliefs.

Now, I'll sum it up in my own terms. Self-improvement, to me, is constantly looking for more/new ideas of doing something with a focus of constantly getting better. Whether it's a habit, hobby, or life in general, we're looking to improve & make forward progress. It's about looking at something from new perspectives. Broaden your horizons and realize that you can always learn something more that can benefit you in ways you never could have thought on your own. I view self-improvement as not only the key to success, but also the key to happiness.

Self-fulfillment. "The fulfillment of one's hopes and ambitions." When you're constantly looking to improve in order to meet your goals to set new ones, you're also looking for self-fulfillment. These two terms go hand in hand. When you're improving, achieving and moving forward, you're going to desire more because you've now found out that hard work pays off.

Now, going back to the Why?. I've created this site for people who are motivated to do better, be better, and get better. The motivation for self-improvement isn't always easy to locate within yourself. After all, nobody can do the work that YOU need to get done. Everybody goes through times where they're just unmotivated to do anything. It happens to the best of us, but sometimes, reading the simplest quotes or paragraphs & articles could help give you a jolt and put you back on track! That's why this site exists. I motivate myself, by doing my best to help motivate and guide others. I'm passionate about self-improvement with a slight(okay, ...maybe a little more than slight) focus on fitness. I believe that if you're looking to get the most out of life, self-improvement and striving to be better each and every day, is the way to do so.

You need to find what you love, and keep doing that. My love includes fitness and self-improvement. Motivating others to be the best versions of themselves they can possibly be. Every single day you have the opportunity to learn something new, grow, and make forward progress towards your goals. Some days are easier than others when it comes to getting things done. We all go through days where we feel like we're just going through the motions. You've got to dig deep and search for that passion that you have on some days. My motivation comes partly from doing my best to lead by example, inspire others, and help others change their lives. Post by post I hope you can take something out of each one and apply it to your life. Every day you have the opportunity to strive to do better.
