10 minutes to spare, 10 minutes of cardio done.

I'm not one to make excuses, but..... SOMETIMES, working three jobs can get hard and make it hard for me to time to get to the gym. I didn't workout this morning ... (I know..I"M SUCH A SLACKER.) I'm extremely hard on myself when it comes to not getting done, what I want to get done.... So in between jobs today, I decided I HAD to get a mini workout in. 

I got home around 2 pm, quickly made a pre workout shake(honestly probably pointless because it probably didn't hit me until after I finished my cardio anyways LOL) and ate a banana, and by ate, I mean INHALED. Got on the treadmill in my basement around 2:10pm, warmed up for 45 seconds then cranked that sucker up and ran my little heart out. Hit the one-mile-mark around 7:15 and then slowly went down in speed until I reached 10 minutes.

10 minute workout. ONLY 10 MINUTES. AND I FELT SO GOOD AFTERWARDS. 

IT'S CRAZY (sorry still had caps lock on..) but... IT'S CRAZY how much better you can feel after only doing 10 minutes of exercise. For me, it's like my whole day got turned around & just felt so good man. It's not only good for your body and mind, but you feel so much better after because you feel so productive. Making every minute try to count is not an easy task at all, yet it can feel soooo rewarding.


The point of this post is, next time you have 10 minutes to spare..... do something that will be useful. Something that will either help you feel better, something that may be challenging but rewarding. Take advantage of the time you have! Be careful how you spend your energy and attention. Hell... I might start making that an every day thing! Every day that I work 2 of my 3 jobs, I might hop on the treadmill and just bust out a mile because of how amazing it felt. DO THE THINGS THAT ARE GOOD FOR YOU AND HELP YOU FEEL GOOD.

It may not be easy, but it's worth it. Work for what you want, instead of wishing for what you would like to have. Work to make the most of your time instead of wishing you had more of it. MAXIMIZE YOUR PRODUCTIVITY.


I challenge you to analyze more closely, how you spend your time on a day to day basis. Do more. Do so much more. I challenge myself every day to always do more than I did yesterday, by focusing on the right things, instead of the distractions. It pays off, the more you do it.
